Some years ago, I hired a brand new “green pea” salesman. Since he came from a family of "car guys" that I knew well, I assumed that he had some basic knowledge about cars. His very first day on the floor, he was showing a six-cylinder truck to a customer when the man asked, “Do you have anything in a V8?”
To which my new salesman promptly replied, “We don't have any vegetable juice, but can I get you a Pepsi?”
The man laughed until he cried. And yes, he still bought a truck.
