Bloomberg: Tesla Squeezes in to Consumer Reports’ Top 5 Brands

PALO ALTO — Tesla Motors’ perception among consumers appears to be improving, according to a recent survey. Bloomberg reports the electric automaker came in fifth in the Consumer Reports survey that allows consumers to rank brand attributes including quality, safety, value, design and technology.

Toyota, Ford, Honda and General Motors’ Chevrolet were ranked the highest among the 1,578 car owners who participated in the poll in 2013.

Tesla ranked 11th in last year’s survey.
